Independent, compassionate veterinary care at the heart of the Howden community.

Howden Animal Health is a local, independent veterinary practice owned ay Heidi Svensgaard, who has worked in the veterinary profession and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes for nearly 40 years.

Many of you may already remember Heidi from her years working in the local area. After briefly stepping away from local small animal work, Heidi has returned with a passion to provide independent, personalised veterinary care to the pets and families of Howden and the surrounding area.

Our experienced team of vets, veterinary nurses and support staff is dedicated to providing exceptional care throughout every stage of your pet's life. From routine health checks and vaccinations to advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures, we offer a comprehensive range of veterinary services tailored to your pets individual needs.

At Howden Animal Helath, your pet's health, happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in taking the time to get to know both you and your pet, providing a compassionate and supportive environment where you can feel confident in the care they receive.

Heidi's mission is simple; to provide exceptional, individual veterinary care to the pets and families of our local community.
